Present(2025):
Xinqiang Chen serves as Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Institute of logistics science & engineering of Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai, China. Besides, he is invited to be a reviewer for many top journals in transportation and computer vision field, such as IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, etc. He has published over 70 papers in top journals and conferences, including around 60 SCI papers. His research field mainly focuses on advanced AI technique based smart ship, autonomous port management, computer vision, etc.

Education Background and Work:
He served as the research Associate at Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences of Fudan University from 2020 to 2022. He received his Ph.D. degree majoring at traffic information engineering and controlling from Shanghai Maritime University in 2018. Moreover, From September, 2015 to September, 2016, he was a visiting Ph.D. student in Smart Transportation Applications and Research Laboratory (STAR Lab), University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA.
